Farewell to Christopher Houlihan
At the end of April 2024, we farewell Christopher Houlihan as the Chief Executive Officer of Mercy Education Ltd. Christopher has been the inaugural Chief Executive of MEL and has made a wonderful contribution to Mercy Education, the MEL schools and to Catholic Education more broadly.
The Trustee Directors of Mercy Ministry Companions thank him for his eight years of dedicated and exemplary leadership. Christopher has been a ‘Mercy educator’ for many years through his teaching and leadership roles and has great respect for the Sisters of Mercy and their ministries. One of the highlights of his time in leadership was participating in the Mercy Leadership Program and Dublin Pilgrimage where the story of Catherine McAuley and the early sisters made a deep impression. We wish Christopher many blessings as he concludes his time at Mercy Education and embraces whatever may unfold in the future.
